Animal-assisted therapy is designed to improve the physical, social, emotional, and/or cognitive functioning of the patient, as well as provide educational and motivational effectiveness for participants. I do agree with the article. However!! I have the greatest regard and respect for Cesar. I owned three dogs for the last 14 years. I used Cesar’s methods on my new Black Lab, Shorty, from the pound. Great Results!! I recommend all Dog owners watch his shows and learn.
Celebrity Pets - Pet Supplies for the Rich and Famous
By Dawn Rose Platinum Quality Author
Life is good for most celebrity’s pets. It seems to be a fad these days to flaunt your pet in public if you’re a celebrity. The most popular is the canine. I am not sure who was the very first person to start it, but it definitely caught on like wild fire. A movie in Hollywood that definitely influenced this trend was Legally Blonde. Reese Witherspoon’s Dog Bruiser in the movie went everywhere with her. She dressed him up in clothes and jewels. She pampered him as if he were a child. Not only did movies influence this trend, but so did the real life celebrities. Paris Hilton was one of the first that most people probably remember. Tiny, fluffy and adorable, Knut the baby polar bear became an animal superstar after he was abandoned by his mother. He rapidly became the symbol of Berlin Zoo, whose staff bottle-fed him and handed out cuddles in between…
I talked to a friend who lost her dog recently. (I just lost 2 of
my precious dogs - Benny & Dukie). She says that her way to get over
the grief is to celebrate their life by writing about the good, the funny
and even the aggravating stories of their life! What a great idea.
